About Curtains and More
We would like to start you on a stress free journey packed with lots of value and advantages for you. As part of the first stage of our journey Maree (Interior/Colour Consultant - Pictured, right), Laurell or Diane will work alongside you, listen to your ideas and get to know you personally to help us understand what you are wishing to achieve. We can do this either on site or in the shop where we will consult, grow your ideas and help you through all the initial decisions such as choosing:
- Fabrics - texture, plains, patterns, and colour
- Linings - colour, block out, noise reduction, warmth, high UV mildew resistant;
- Pleats - Pencil Pleat, Invert Box, London, Belgium, Dutch, or French;
- Embellishments – tassels, beads, and fringing;
- Tracks - single or twin, decorative or standard.
As you can imagine no job is ever the same. At this point we would be more than happy to take you to any home where we have installed drapes, tracks and blinds, and we would be more than happy to give you names and phone numbers of previous clients who would give you an honest opinion on their experience with us.
Having our very own production room in the back of our retail store gives us the advantage of continually overseeing all our clients’ work from start to finish. There are often a lot of onsite decisions which need to be made once fabric is actually on the cutting and sewing tables. We are proud to guarantee our workmanship and we will only work with excellent quality materials. Once your drapes, blinds, and tracks have passed through the quality control procedure we will install them personally to guarantee that we are all 100% satisfied. This process takes about three weeks from the date you accept our quotation. If there is a fabric delay we will advise you straight away to give the option of either accepting the new expected due date or the option of choosing another fabric or colour.
